Through collaboration with leading UK universities and the use of specialist manufacturing techniques, PBS has developed products that are perfect for isolating plants and collecting pollen.
- Intelligent: the non-woven materials with which we produce our pollination bags allow a good flow of light, air and moisture, for plant health, but limit the flow of pollen;
- Durable: robust materials are welded in order to create a pollen proof bond and to provide resistance to weather conditions. The resilience of our bags means that they can be reused over multiple seasons;
- Purpose built: clear PVC windows allow plants to be monitored; optional polyester flaps can protect sensitive plants from exposure to strong light.
As well as our standard range pollination bags, we also manufacture bespoke products that address specific requirements.

1 window polyester pollination bag
These bags are a flat construction (no gusset), with a single PVC observation window on the front. 2 window polyester pollination bag
A flat bag construction (no gusset), with PVC observation windows in the front and back; this is our most popular product. Three-dimensional polyester pollination bag
These bags are fitted with a gusset in order to give them extra depth and have a single PVC window on the front. Their additional capacity makes them ideal for use in forestry and soft-fruit breeding. The bags can be fitted with a material flap, which shields plants from strong light, if necessary.

Mini bag

Tent tube
